Dr. Michael Chaiken is a talented optometrist with more than three decades of experience in the industry as a successful practice owner and practicing optometrist while taking on outside leadership roles that focus on the business, regulatory, and financial aspects of the eye care industry.
Dr. Chaiken earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Montreal School of Optometry. Before joining Medical Optometry America, Dr. Chaiken was the CEO of IRIS The Visual Group, a leading eye care provider in Canada, and also served as president of PRN Canada and Clinique Visuelle 20/20 Inc.
