Meet Kenneth Krieg, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Medical Optometry America. With over 40 years of experience as a successful entrepreneur, Ken Krieg has founded and sold multiple companies, generating more than $200 million in shareholder value. He pioneered the first Urgent Care concept in 1983, launching four locations under Med Now, thanks to his visionary and disruptive thinking.

Krieg has dedicated his career to healthcare, continually seeking ways to enhance care delivery and experience while driving greater efficiency. In the 1990s, he recognized the challenges of the “one-man” obstetrical practice and founded the largest OB/GYN group in Philadelphia. His Vanguard Healthcare Group employed 60 doctors and 15 nurse midwives, staffing the obstetrics and gynecology departments in 17 hospitals and at one point delivering between 35 and 40% of all babies in the greater Philadelphia area.

Krieg is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a Master’s Degree in healthcare management and a Bachelor’s Degree in economics from the State University of New York.

In 2006, he founded Physician’s Recommended Nutriceuticals (PRN) to develop a line of ocular nutrition supplements that would become the top choice for both ophthalmologists and optometrists. Through this venture, he noticed the growing gap between supply and demand for primary medical eye care, which led him to establish Medical Optometry America. After successfully selling PRN and its affiliated companies, he is now devoting his entrepreneurial skills to transforming MOA into a nationwide brand, aiming to revolutionize eye health in the United States.
