About VisionLOCK Adjustment Centers
VisionLOCK Adjustment Centers work in partnership with leading cataract surgeons to offer patients the most innovative intraocular lens available today, the Light Adjustable Lens. Unlike fixed lenses, the Light Adjustable Lens allows patients to fine-tune their vision after cataract surgery, avoiding the worry of being “locked-in” to the wrong lens.
Once you have been scheduled for the Light Adjustable Lens (LAL) with your cataract surgeon, they will schedule you for your adjustments at their preferred VisionLOCK Adjustment Center. Following your surgery, your VisionLOCK doctors will perform 3-5 adjustments, also known as light treatments, to help you achieve your personal vision goals.

The Adjustment Process at VisionLOCK Centers
After the initial Light Adjustable Lens cataract surgery, patients are referred to VisionLOCK for a series of postoperative light treatments:
- Initial Adjustment: Scheduled 17 to 30 days after surgery.
- Subsequent Adjustments: Occur 3-7 days after each prior light treatment.
- Lock-in Treatments: Final treatment, scheduled 3-7 days after the previous treatment.
Throughout the process, we ensure clear communication with both the surgeon and the referring optometrist, providing detailed reports on each adjustment.
VisionLOCK doctors are highly trained medical optometrists who are experienced in providing exceptional care for cataract patients, from the initial planning process to working collaboratively with leading cataract surgeons to providing care post-operatively. They are trained and certified to perform LAL adjustments by RxSight, manufacturer of the Light Adjustable Lens.
