Meet Dr. Sherman
Dr. Justin Sherman, FAAO, is the caring and experienced Medical Director, MOA – Horsham that is passionate about helping his patients understand their vision and take control of their eye health. He is trained to address all eye diseases and conditions, including corneal surface disease, dry eye, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration (AMD), and emergency eye care. Dr. Sherman is also recognized as the leading regional expert in improving patients’ lives with therapeutic specialty contact lenses such as scleral lenses..
Dr. Sherman’s Experience
After attending The University of California, Irvine, for his undergraduate degree, Dr. Sherman graduated from Salus University (formerly Pennsylvania College of Optometry), where he also completed an advanced optometric residency in corneal disease and specialty contact lenses. He has prescribed and fit more than 1,000 scleral lenses in his career, as well as fitting soft, Toric, multifocal, gas-permeable, and orthokeratology lenses. He leverages his experience to provide tailored treatment options for a range of eye conditions, including severe dry eye disease, corneal ectasia, and keratoconus.

Get to Know Dr. Sherman
Dr. Sherman is dedicated to advancing the field of optometry, and in addition to his work at Medical Optometry America, he has published articles in numerous eye care journals, including Review of Ophthalmology. He also contributed to creating the curriculum for the surgical residency program at Wills Eye Hospital. He loves learning about his patients and sharing his passion for exceptional vision. Dr. Sherman happily resides in Elkins Park with his wife and daughter. When he isn’t spending time with his family, Dr. Sherman enjoys marathon running and playing ‘Magic the Gathering’.
